Salvation! for a little while at least!
Hello everyone! It is the last week of classes and I finally have time to relax before finals begin next week! Today was the last time of the year that I had to hand in an assigment… it felt so good after a semester of long hard work to hand that take home final in to the professor. I thought the end would never come, but it finally is a reality! Yesterday was the last BSA meeting of the semester, aside from our field day which is taking place this Saturday. We held elections for eboard positions next year and I am going to be the secretary for another year, which I am excited about. We ended up getting four new board members and I’m looking forward to see what the next year is going to bring. That’s all for now!
This is the current eboard! I <3 BSA!!!

Final Stretch…
As the weather is getting more and more beautiful here at Storrs, the amount of school work I have to do is darkening my skies! I would love to be out enjoying the sun, but I can’t because I have so many papers due before the end of the semester, which is in two weeks! I have about eight papers due… and it’s pretty depressing, but once I get the 12 pager out of the way for this coming Monday, it will be a ton off of my shoulders, I’m trying not to stress about it, but it’s hard just knowing that the end is soooooo close!! I will keep you posted on any progress and any fun stuff (if possible)!

Success All around!
Hello everyone! This past weekend was an awesome one. On saturday BSA held its annual fashion show in the Student Union ballroom. It was a highly anticipated show after seeing disappointments in other school’s fashion shows. People were ready to see how good or bad our show was going to be. I, along with all the other participants in the show were very nervous/excited about it. After a very stressful day of getting ready for the show, the time finally came to put the show on for the UConn campus. We got started a little late, but other than that, everything ran smoothly! The show was a great success, and despite the late start, we still ended a little before the time we alotted for the show, this allowed a smooth transition for the after party. The organization made a lot of money and I can’t wait to take part in the show next year! It took a lot of hard work to put the show on, and through the mistakes we made this year, we know what to do next year. We had four independent designers who showcased their clothes on our models, and some additional scenes thought up by the BSA eboard ranging from a throwback 80’s-90’s scence to a sophisticated formal/business casual scene. I can’t wait to see what next year brings! If you have any suggestions, leave them here!
Here’s a pic of me modeling a very stylish Jacket by one of the independent designers!
