#UConnSocial is excited to add two new student Social Media Content Producers (SMCP) to the team for the 2019-20 academic year. Austin and Rachel will be joining Alexis, Amanda, and Lucie and the five of them will heavily focus on content creation, vlogging, real-time coverage, and implementing a few new and exciting social initiatives this semester.
Austin Gao, '20 (CLAS)

Austin Gao is a senior pursuing a double degree in Communications and Psychological Sciences. He has been a part of many video production teams such as the annual Miss Chinese Beauty Pageant and managing social media accounts for the organization of Chinese Import/Export. Austin is also involved on campus as Social Media Content Producer as well as a leader for the Kids & UConn Bridging Education program. In his spare time, he enjoys dancing to K-Pop and editing videos for UConn Seoular K-Pop Dance Crew as well as for his own personal page.
Rachel Moussavi, '22 (BUS)

Rachel Moussavi is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing and Analytics. Along with working as a Social Media Content Producer, Rachel is also the Vice President and Media Chair of UConn’s Unicef Initiative. In the future, Rachel plans on pursuing a job in the marketing field. Aside from school and work, she enjoys reading and running!
